Ab diesem Montag, dem 12.10., öffnen in Kenia nach langer Corona-bedingter Pause die Schulen wieder. Durch eure Unterstützung für unser Crowdfunding Projekt, konnten wir den Unterrichtsausfall zwei Monate lang mit zwei Aushilfslehrern, die im Heim unterrichteten, überbrücken.
Für einige der Kinder, die inzwischen weiterführende Schulen in anderen Städten besuchen, musste der Transport dorthin organisiert werden. Außerdem mussten auch neue Schulsachen und Uniformen für einige Kinder besorgt werden. Auch dafür konnte Zukunftswaisend dank euch finanzielle Unterstützung leisten!
Bildung ist gerade in jungen Jahren essenziell und der Grundstein für ein selbstständiges Leben. Dank euren Spenden konnten wir das Heart Children’s Home dabei unterstützen, dass die Kinder während der Pandemie bildungstechnisch nicht abgehängt wurden und nun gut auf das neue Schuljahr vorbereitet sind. After a long Corona caused break, schools in Kenya are reopening this Monday, the 12th of October. Due to your support for our crowd funding project, we could bridge the gap with two home schooling teachers who taught at the Heart Children’s Home for two months.
For some of the children who are now visiting continuative schools, transport had to be organized. Furthermore, some new school supplies and uniforms had to be provided. This could also be financially supported by Zukunftswaisend thanks to you!
Especially at young age education is essential and sets a base for an independent living later on. By means of your donations we could support the Heart Children’s Home in ways that the kids weren’t left behind educationally through the pandemic and are now prepared well for the new school year.
